I would highly recommend Will Kerner for your wedding day. He took the most amazing photographs. Photography was absolutely the most important thing to me on my wedding day because that is the thing that will last forever and that is why I went with Will. After we got back from our week honeymoon our proofs were ready to be picked up - amazing. We got married in July but we ended up keeping the proof book until Christmas because there were honestly so many good pictures it took us that long to decide which ones to put in the album. We had a Christmas party this year and I had several of them framed and are in our living room. All the girls at the Christmas party took turns standing around the pictures. One girl said she was "mesmerized." One of the greatest things about Will is that he was so nice to my family. I have been to some family weddings where the photographer is downright rude and bossy. Not Will. And that's something you don't even think about when you're looking for someone. It was like 98 degrees outside and he was smiling through the whole thing even though he was sweating more than anyone. I really loved all the candid shots he took especially. You will love Will's pictures I'm glad you found him!

My husband and I 100% recommend Will Kerner for wedding photography (or any type of photography). The final product is fantastic, he makes everyone look great and the quality/style of his photography is so much better than your typical wedding photographer. I had many friends get married around the same time and everyone agreed our photos and album were far superior. Will is a very talented photographer and takes great shots. Will was also very easy to work with. Wedding planning can be stressful and he remains extremely calm and helps to keep you calm on the big day. He also did not run around at the reception and ask people to do group shots, which is what we wanted. We wanted more natural shots and he did a excellent job of capturing the day for us.

I had lived in Charlottesville for two years a few years before I got engaged. I used my contacts to research photographers. I picked Will because, most importantly, I really liked his work. I like his photojournalistic style. Will was also very easy to work with. Wedding planning can be stressful and he remains extremely calm and helps to keep you calm on the big day. He also did not run around at the reception and ask people to do group shots. We wanted more natural shots and he did a excellent job of capturing the day for us.

He was very professional to work with...he arrived early, he was patient with my family (my husband's family doesn't all speak English), and he went above the call of duty...at some point he was running back and forth across the field (we walked across a field toward our guests) and told us when to walk. He was easy to work with...relaxed and made us relaxed. And he slipped into the background at the right moment.

I didn't want the photographer to become part of the wedding. I wanted to have amazing photos without my friends and family posing for pictures left and right. Will's photojournalistic style is what I was drawn to...he told a story by taking candid pictures throughout the day.

Downsides....I don't have any. He was professional before, during and after wedding. Not one downside. I would hire him again -- and I would recommend him to my closest friends.

I sent him three thank you cards/emails. Once when I got the photos. One when I made an album. And one after our one year anniversary.
